I had my viewsat 9000hd set up along time ago I think before everything went digital. My question to you guys is is their anything I have to buy to get it back up in running or do I just needa download sum new files. Thanks for your help

You need to read up on perhaps using an alternate dongle such as x-fta (g-router) or connecting to an older laptop/computer w/ proper software installed. Sorry no magic bins as in the past. Oh yeh...welcome to satfix.

I would say the x-fta router is the easiest and many folks are using this for the VS receivers. Read up on them here as a starter;

Thanks for your help I just ordered it should be on its way ...what would be the next step? Will I have to buy codes from a different site or is it as easy as plug in play
