A high pressure system hanging over the West this weekend is expected to bring temperatures that are extreme even in a region used to baking during the summer. The National Weather Service called for 118 in Phoenix, and 117 in Las Vegas on Sunday — a mark reached only twice in Sin City.

I'm not, it's going to be 104 today (it's 92 right now) and 108 by tomorrow, I feel like packing it up and heading up to were it will be cooler, say around 10,000 feet, lots of cool mountain lakes to put your feet in up there,also still some snow at around 11,000.

Being 500 meters from the west coast beach here and it is raining hard since 3 a.m. this morning, cooled down to 27°c, prolly will snow next, cannot believe it everyone wearing sweatshirts here, need the heat baby.
