after a long period of shut down, was setting up my sat . everything was going ok till I went into A/V settings. was trying to find some info and change the ntsc and when it showed pal it crashed into the mode invalid format. Cant seem to ge out of it. Wont let me do anything. tried to unplug for awhile but no change. Do I consider this machine dead??? If so, whats best out there today. J

Force load the factory bin.
Load the factory bin to your usb stick.
Insert the stick and shut the box off from the rear switch.
While holding the "ok" button in on the box, restart from the rear switch.Hold the "ok" button for at least 5 seconds when you boot from the rear.
This will put the box in USB mode and you can use the buttons on the box to navigate and force load the file. When your in usb mode,"USBL" will be displayed on the the box.
Restart as normal and load the current file for your box .
If your on component video, you'll need to downgrade to standard video (yellow output) to see the Usb mode screen.

My notes to get back to NTSC are as follows: yellow, up arrow, right arrow, exit. From where you start from I cannot remember but, these notes should get you going as I had these issues when I first got mine.

Happy Testing!!!
