hey guys got a question for you computer guys.
i'm trying to run some Ethernet adapters at my sisters house to run a free to air box to her tv. I do it at my house and have never had a problem. when I plug them in at her house one of the pair will not work in her house. now they both work at my house but at her house only one will come on. she does have a security system that I can only think of that could stop it from working. I did notice on the back the MHz I believe is different one is something like .08 and the other ons .065 could this be the problem with the security sytem or is it something different maybe
thanks

ok the router is a Linksys wrt54 g , the adapters are royal rpl 204 and rpl 200. the only difference I see besides the 4 port and one port of coarse is the 204 has a 0.08A and the 200 has a 0.065A. and its the 204 that won't stay powered on. it flickers when you first plug it in then it goes out. I can plug the 200 in and it stays on but both stay on at my house.
thanks

Check the wall plug...(do not use any power bars or extension cords)
With adapters..have found this in many houses..some work and some do not...but check wall plug and check for right polarity in wall plug too .
Make sure its still works and try another wall plug .

ya that's what I thought it may have been the plug but I tried it on at least 4 or 5 different plugs and even the new plugs in the kitchen just to see if the lights would stay on and nothing. but they stay on in my house :) is that not crazy
