Scramble Channel and K-Hub Red

I'm having major problems with my K-Box. Every night my K-Box screws up big time because it goes out every night with the words "scramble channels" on the television set and the K-Hub dongle turns red all the time. Can you tell me what the problem is with my K-Box? Do I need a new dongle on the back of the K-Box or do I need a new file?

What have you tried to do to remidy this?
have you tried a hard reboot?
have you tried to reset your modem?
when it goes out is there a lot of extra traffic on your internet?

I've reseted my modem several times, and given it a hard reboot by taking out the K-Box dongle, and taking out the ether cable to my router and it stills does that. But I do go on Youtube and watch videos while the K-Box is showing scramble channel.
