Accessing guide after recording is set

Anybody else have issues exiting the channel you are on I you are recordjng a show ? For example I'm on channel 105 if I press record it records no problem but you cannot reenter the guide or access any menus . It just stays on the channel your recording forever unless I press the power button on remote and force reboot . Any ideas ?

Well when you enter into the record mode its normal that you cannot do anything while the recording takes place as that would affect the recording. You Must press the stop button on your remote so that you get the popup window with stop. Thats the proper way to do it and you dont have to reboot. I think this is in the users manual.
