360P file confussion

Hello, My friend has been using the "premier_lan_29". Getting "no information" in guide. Thinking of updating. Can I use the "Premier_tlink_T29_sv-tec" file to become current without doing anything else? I'm afraid I might be missing something. Thanks

The Tlink files are for South America.
