I just received my Dreamlink yesterday. I connected all the wires and turn it on, step by step according to the guide. IN the beginning, no light at all.... The I unplugged one by one, finally the both lights green and red appeared and flashing. I turn off and receiver then unplug the HDMI port, only green light appeared now. I plug the UBS stick and dl the factory file it start to reboot and it is stucks... black green, green light is on but nothing else appeared...

I saw several threads open about this issue and I really dont know what to do next. IS it broken ? or I have to turn it off for a while then re-open it ? Please help. Thank you

THank you for replying to me. I left it for about 15 mins and try to load the 119 bin file and again same problem, it can not reboot by itself. I have to switch off for another 15 mins. I went to do the Dish setting and I can not find my 3 satellites on the list (110, 119 and 129). Any idea why? I know my satellites are Ok because I am watching TV with my I link 9600 and this DReamlink is for my parent. Do you know the setting of 3 satellites for Dreamlink by chance (ANTENNA SETTINGS, LNB Frequency, TP Frequency etc) ? I didnt see them in the guide at all. THank you

Thank you all for helping,

FInally the problem is HDMI port cause after I load the RCA wire, I can scan all but I can't watch the HD channel, in the scan the FTA see the HD channel but when I get to 9421, all it says is Bad or no signal and I don't know why. The unit is getting hot reallyyyy fast so I have to put a fan in front of it for the moment. I did try to go and change A/V setting but the quality is really not good. Do you have any idea why can't watch HD channels? It said it has HD SK200 built-in but I dont see it at all through the top of the FTA. Please help if you had same problem like me, thank you

According with the picture I saw on the net, it is SK200. also the same one I saw How to set up Dreamlink. I will definitively take a pic in the mornign and show you what it looks like. thanks

Try to power up without antenna cable. For commercial satellite like di$h, auto scan is the best option.

Maybe u have problem on ur lnb or sk200.

Sorry for my english.

You dont need a fan. Make sure that silicone block is placed on the chip of the sk200 and it touches the top case.. It wont overheat if it has nothing on top of the receiver..Put the receiver where there is nothing stacked, around it and it will be fine..

Thank you JCO for replying to me. I have returned the box because it doesn't work properly. My Dish is Ok ( I have tested with another box) but it keeps telling me bad or no signal, the box get hot so quickly, I did unplug the SK200 and put it back, still doesn't work properly...So I decided to return it.
