Sounds like a connection code problem and not receiver related.

First you need to understand what it says when it shows connected (?).
If you changed your ip and you see Connect and nothing in brackets, that means you are connected to router and no numbers between the brackets means your server needs to have correct info.

If you have a computer that can connect via wi-fi see if you can connect to the internet. If you can connect then the problem is with the receiver. But if you cannot then you have to find out why you dont get an internet connectin from your service provider. The error was caused after you changed ip's so look for the problem there.
