Hi,
I tried to find this here but could not find anything here.
I have this box and put power inserter to supply power to LNBs (4 LNB) just to put my box at ease so that it does not get warm and burn the tuner. I have already burned two tuner JB100 AND JB200. When I look at setting there is a option for LNB power on off. So I turn this setting to off. Every channel working fine. I also have Coolsat 4000, this box also have LNB power setting. When I set its setting to off I lose signal. I only get signal when LNB power is set to on.
Now my question is that the Jynxbox setting i.e. LNB power on off is really working or it have no effect on LNB power?

Anyone have any experience with this setting?

It may not be that the LNB powers on or off, but the DC power inserter's DC input load to the receiver, some receivers don't like this load and this could burn out the module.

There is one way around this and that is to run the DC power to the switch/LNB's on it's own separate coax from the DC power inserter to the #1 port on the switch or the triple head LNB #1 receiver output.

This keeps the reciver out of the DC power line loop, this is the better way to do this.
