I suggest to use a static IP address anyway.....
Is this the only router on the network?

Well, that would be a receiver bin issue.
Have you tried reflashing the receiver or trying another bin?
P.S. When you change to static you have set the IP yourself. It won't just change on its own.

First, if you updated from a brian type bin to 154.2.255, you must update the boot file to 1.30
next make sure you are using 154.2.255
finally you must scan in channels, and go to an encrypted channel (like 200) in order for this box to attempt to connect

this is what i did for at least 10 time.
1. factory reset
2. Load this file u48 factory file from July 2009 also in MAIN mode.
3. Load this file next... boot file v.130 also in BOOT mode.
4. Lastly load this file 090928 sol phoenix sd v153 1 (Maintenance release) in MAIN mode.
5. Then load newest file which is nfusion-154.2-255.bin in MAIN mode.
6. Setup LNBs
7. Scan Channels
8. Go to channel 200 and turn off receiver
6. Start NOI
7. Go to Settings and enter your NFPS Info. and hit save. Be sure to use colons in the key 61:03:40:34 and so on.
8. Go to Main and hit Start. If you see snow your all set. If you get a connection error try using the server IP instead.
9. Turn on receiver and watch TV.

I apologize for trying to help - next time I'll leave it in the forum where you would have gotten 15 views and possibly 1 reply . Tell me where you would like it to be moved and I , or one of my colleagues , will be happy to do so.
Good luck.

same thing...both of my router are working fine.one router upstair and one downstair.i tried hooking up to both router.ip address 0.0.0.0 for both dhcp or static.
nfusion been out over 10 years, and no one has this issue or know how to fix it....i guess this box is garbage.

what i would do if i were you is connect your nfsion to your primary router, set a static ip, fill in all the ip info, gateway, etc. reboot your nfusion with the back power switch. go into menu, internet, etc. verify static ip is the same, and then try accessing your nfusion via the webloader. if you can access via webloader, your nfusion Ethernet port is working.
I attached a pdf with instructions on how to use the webloader
