Any suggestions on how to set up a Dish 1000.2 with a dreamlink hd v4? Running cable straight from LNB to box and no signal. Antenna has a proper set up. Watching regular tv with dish. Thanks in advance.

Are you getting a lock , in antenna settings, on the 3 sats that you are pointing at?

More likely than not your receiver doesn't have the required power output for that lnb.

I am running a Limesat HD air, a Dreamlink HD and a Viewsat 9000 HD and mine is working perfect, I don't know if the one receiver has the power to run the switch for that antena

If your getting Dish service on a Dish receiver then the dish and LNB's are working fine, and your settings look good for those satellites.

Did you run the coax from the #2 or #3 port on the 3 headed LNB? (don't use #4 on the LNB that an input only)

Or from #2 or #3 on a DPP44 switch?

And for 119 use TP 12457 to check the signal, it has one open to all channel on it (Dish 101) and is a CONUS beam.

For 129 use TP12516, 110 use TP12224.

Also what type of coax did you use, if its for CATV it wont work, it has to be for satellite service, that means it has to be marked 2.5 GHz or higher.

A bit more info on what you have hooked up will help us quite a bit.

Actually I am running from headed Lnb 3 cables going into dp34 switch.
From #1 LNB headed to #1 on Dp34
From #2 LNB headed to #2 on dp34
From #3 LNB headed to #3 on Dp34
It did scanned channels but it does repeated some of them. At the same time dish box is running and looks good also using it to power dp34 switch. All I am getting is black screen.

How are you running a Viewsat 9000Hd? Any other equipment added to it? I do have a Viewsat 9000HD and not using it.

If you have the D1000 LNB (three heads) you do not need the DP34 switch, use the Dish receiver and run it on it's own coax to the #1 receiver port on the LNB, then the other 2 outputs on that LNB will run two other receivers just fine.

The switch is just added baggage and is not needed as the LNB has it's own switch inside.

The forth connection on that LNB is for a second DP single LNB, or for the special 118 DP LNB.

Your kidding right? In your original post you stated that you aren't using a switch.

I was not but just going crazy only to know that setting I think are right and no TV so I started making changes. But I will give it a shot eliminating dp34 and going straight to the box. So let me recap on this: from #1 headed lnb to dish box and #2 headed lnb to dreamlink and that should bring 110,119,129. Will let you know

I did try that but still got no signal and no tv. I think I had tried everything. Maybe a bad stb?

Yes that could be a problem.

Could be the 8psk tuner card and not the stb.
