Hello everyone, my receiver works well for a few minutes and then it says no signal. Once I turn it off and turn it back on it will work well and then I get the message again. I have two actual dn receivers providing power to the lnbs. I don't have any switches ie sw44 etc. I'm running file 239 with wifi adapter. Should I load 233 and run wire to it to see if it maybe software related or is it hardware issue (tuner)?

usually means a sign tuner is no good or equipment.

thanks tito. I'm trying 233 now and if this doesn't work then I guess I'll have to go back to my dealer and get a new tuner.

update: I went ahead and uploaded file 233 and the receiver has been running with no issue. I will try to upload 239 again to see if the file was the issue.

When you load the 2.39 factory default 3 times it might help you.

You only need the one Dish receiver to run the LNB's, using 2 will not help, only one receiver will run the LNB's and that's the one with the highest DC voltage output.
Also a Dish receiver will only detect and work with a Dish LNB, using it on other types may cause damage (over time) to the NON dish LNB's, a Dish receiver has the DC voltage output capability of 20 volts DC, this over time may damage other types and brands of LNB's.
Using two or more receivers will not add or increase the DC voltage or current to the LNB, it doesn't work like like putting several batteries together, there are diodes on the LNB inputs, these diodes will only allow the highest DC voltage to run the LNB, and keeps the DC voltage from the receiver with the highest DC voltage output from folding back to the receiver(s) with the lower voltage and damaging their power supply(s).

I'm getting ready to re-install 239 thanks for the tip Tito. Terryl, the reason I have two dn receivers is because I have a sub.

Well I've determined it's definitely a hardware issue since I still lose signal regardless of the file I use. However it does not lose signal while on 110 or 119 only on 129. Should I replace the jb200 or could it be the entire box?

If you have no reboot issues or lcd display issues I would just try another jb-200.

Test this out, take the top off the box and see what happens.Could be a heat issue, after changing a few tuners, had to solved the problem with a small fan.

Perhaps the heat issue is the problem, not sure if your ambient temperature is a factor. I have normal 31c to 39c and never a problem.
I am only running 1 lnb on jb-200 and 1 lnb on dvbs-2 module. You may be trying to run multi lnbs on the 1 jb-200 module w/ no suppliment power assist.

Thanks guys for your replies! I tried what fibroso recommended and its been running like a champ. I have already ordered a usb laptop cooler fan.
