View Full Version : Problem getting codes to work on VS9000

Hello everyone, I just got my setup (XFTA ROUTER) this morning & have been working all day to get it going (using a VS9000)... Setting up the router went pretty smooth (getting all the right indications) but it says failed to re-connect to card server. Heres my log :

Failed to reconnect to card server.

Heres the info they sent me:

User & pass : xxxxx2314959 SERVER: 2.rocketserver.tv PORT: 35922 DESKEY: xxxx xxxx 4540 6970 9871 2341 2134
I emailed my PS & told him the problem & he sent me this(103.31.187.125 ) to use in place of (2.rocketserver.tv ) & still NO GO !

Any ideas what I may doing wrong ??

in the menu on my VS9000, its reporting everything correct:
network setting DHCP
IP address:192.168.1.130
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS 1 :8.8.4.4
DNS 2 :8.8.8.8

Network S/W upgrade
New Software : DX-X00-N APP 200.19

This is all the info I can think of to give you guys !! Anyone have a vs9000 WORKING ??

Mine used to work for 2+ years then one day blank screen.....
traced the error down to "Failed to reconnect to card server." but no matter what i do it fails to connect....zapped unit?

I figured out what the problem was....msg me if you still have this issue

I have 2 viewsat 9000 it time to get new box now.I use it for 5-6 year last two week it have the same problem so i PM my server he told me your box too old. So I got new Dreamlink sd the problem solve > I use Garyole Router with viewsat 9000>

I have 2 viewsat 9000 it time to get new box now.I use it for 5-6 year last two week it have the same problem so i PM my server he told me your box too old. So I got new Dreamlink sd the problem solve > I use Garyole Router with viewsat 9000>

i fixed mine, i use gargoyle too

i fixed my by entering my credentials fresh from scratch....ie don't edit or reapply etc. always enter it from scratch (username/pass/ip/port...etc)
