I just cant trust them ive had a v1 since last july and it still isn't right after numerous files to fix just gave up ..and got a freesat8000 converted to ilink and just got a ilink HD8000SE like it also sorry JB just lost my trust with MANY emty promises

Receiver rated 450mA, never measured it connected to any specific dish though, awhile back measured a dp1000.2 connected to different stb and was 420mA max and all was good.

Well 450mA want work, needs to be 750mA to work with DPP LNBs, it will have the same problems as the V1=V2 & V3, in other
words just another junk box.

Yep, same specs as old box and remember they never did give us any reasonable bin updates to fix the many issues they had on ultra.

Plus no front display and I rather go with another brand right now... with better support

Software never was the problem with the jynxbox, 98% of the problem was hardware, so if this new jynxbox LNB output is 450mA
then its the same old crap cooking in a new pot.

For a basic user with non DN hardware this and the ultra more than good enough. These FTA boxes are not intended to used with DN hardware, so IMO the output is a non starter. I cant wait to get a hold of one of these as a secondary one. I Like the footprint, the tuner is better than the tuner in the DLHD (for me better failure rate) but weary or the heat dissipation.

look at the red text in post #4 ... see the word hardware mentioned anywhere? Jynxbox hasn't released any specs or units yet so nobody knows what they have for working innards

The 2 large holes on the back are for a JB200 Once the JB200 is installed then you can connect to a sat

Anyone know if there's another box being released. My local sat retailer told me to hold off on the ultra v3 as a v4 will be out in a few weeks. Is this the new v4? i really like the options the v3 has especially the astc tuner beucause I use my tv's astc to grab the digital feed off the cable modems feed.

The ultra lite says astc ready so where would you plug in your OTA cable?

Good question there is no room for an ATSC Tuner you would have to replace the JB200 with the ATSC Tuner its only a single tuner receiver

Only one tuner I am aware of in an HD box was capable to drive DN LNBs - NFusion HD w/ SK900v. Got one and yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause. That baby does DPP 1000.2 like nobody's pajamas BUT.... Charlie sued his a$$ right out of business. These guys make F-T-A's on purpose.... cause that is what they have to sell to stay in business. Don't shoot Jynx. They are just trying to sell what they legally can. So is everybody else.

And for the record, my Jynx does not overheat one bit at all cause I have a power inserter.

just inquired about the Ultra Lite Jynx, if you order the basic one there is no tuner in it.You have to order the one thaT COMES WITH THE jb200 TUNER, THIS FELLOW CLAIMS THERE IS ROOM INSIDE FOR 2 TUNERS if you remove the sticker on the back there are 2 more sets of holes for the input jacks. I dont know if this is true or if this is a clone box, the info online is sketchy at best .
This makes me very leery about ordering a box like that, they do not tell you the hole story online and that comes from a legal dealer..

P.S I did order the one with the JB200 tuner. From a reg. dealer
did more checking the guy I talked to IS SELLING CLONES on the Northern West Coast.

2, how's the 8psk? is it the turbo i remeber seeing befor if its not turbo you don't pick up all the hd?
