- To hype their Ring of Fire match at SummerSlam, Bray Wyatt tweeted this message at Kane during last night's SmackDown:

"Be careful monster, if you look into the inferno long enough, it might just stare back........RUN!! #smackdown"

- As noted, the August 2nd SmackDown scored a 1.99 cable TV rating. The match with Christian, Rob Van Dam and Randy Orton brought SmackDown's biggest quarter hour rating of the summer. SmackDown went off the air with just under 900,000 viewers after Alberto Del Rio attacked new #1 contender Christian.
