Hello Friends,
Can anyone suggest an excellent HD receiver for North sats. The reason i'am asking is that I was doing alot of research on this and there is alot of HD recievers out there that will not pick up 82.

name one.

I've used Dreamlink HD, Jynxbox HD, nfusionHD, and they all get 82w. Viewsat 9000, Sonicview 8000 and Viewsat Max have no problems with 82w either

As long as the hd box has a 8psk board you will get nimiq 82w the rest depends on the server.

Where are you located?

You do know that you can't get 91/82 in the US unless you are within I think it's 100 miles of the Can/US border right?

The reason I mention this is does the receiver just not list 82 in the sat options or is it not getting a signal lock? If it's not getting a signal lock, and if you are more than 100 miles from the border, then that's why.

Every HD receiver should be able to list 82, whether it can get the signal is whole other issue

Located in Can,
I was reading a thread where someone was saying they had problems picking up 82 with their HD receiver. Maybe this is why they are having issues. I just wanted to see if anyone could give some feedback with their personal experience with HD reciever, and not getting sucked into buying a crappy one.

if your box can stay on ch 502 and didn't jump to ch 526 right away i would say you have a 8psk module inside

If you only get sound then your antenna settings are wrong or your not connected to the server
