The expected war between undefeated Puerto Rican Jonathan "Bomba" Gonzalez and former double world champion Giovani Segura is now official.
This after both easily dominate the weighing on Friday afternoon at 112 pounds each going for the Latin title of the World Boxing fight Saturday at the star-studded "Night of Champions", to be held in the International Ballroom of El San Juan Resort and Casino in Isla Verde, Carolina, and is transmitted through the system of pay-per-view Direct TV in Puerto Rico.
Both Gonzalez (13-0, 11 KO) and Segura (29-3-1, 25 KO) remained several minutes on the face to face posing for the media after brawl scheduled weighed for a maximum of 10 rounds. And there were no incidents even though both have been quite vocal when it comes to talking about his rival in power.
