box powering up no display

i have a premiere and i put on box everything lights up and i get no display on screen. when i hold ok and power up i get usbl on display and still nothing on screen. box was working fine 2 weeks ago and all of a sudden nothing. is there anything that can be done

Had one a while back blow a chip on the mainboard. Everything would function as before only no video. The thing would even take a file load. Via loader and usb. You could shine a flash light threw the vent holes on top of the stb and see if you have a fried chip. Or remove the top of the stb if your comfortable doing it to see. When mine went all video was gone. Composite, component and s-vhs. May or may not be it but thought I would throw it out there as a possibility. I knew I was screwed with mine from the get go. The tv screen flickered then I seen a small bright flash of light from in side std. Followed by a small puff of smoke and then the dreaded smell of silicon frying lol. And it was lights out. I ran across a few others that had the same thing happen. May have been a round of bad chips installed on some units. Found another one cheap on fleabay and I have it running now.

Tried to supply a couple of pics for a reference. But my hands shake a bit and they are a bit blurry. But maybe they will help. The chip that blew on mine is just behind the s-vhs connection.
