i'm not new at this and have tried rebooting many times. from what i've been reading alot of peeps with expiry dates in june 2014 all seem to be down. anyway i've moved on and have a different server for dn now, one that is working.

There is no reseller or support anymore for U tv, the last time hes online was in April, I though we were done but it came back on for a while, they must just left the server running. I hope it come back on again I still have 3 month left with u-tv.

Recommending a p$ is a no no for this very reason. They hit and run. Stick with the p$ that has been around forever. Yes they might charge a little more, but they is still here. good luck

well I don't know about anyone else but I would be a little leery of a server that went down and then mysteriously came back up again and at the same time the guy running it is gone over 3 months. I wonder why people can't do simple math anymore. What do they teach in schools these days? Oh yeah be politically correct at all times, can't risk hurting somebody's feelings

there is absolutely no reason to be leery about it, the server never went down/mysteriously back up (more than any other server).... and the member u-tv disappeared for a reason, it went TRUE PRIVATE 3 months ago and is possibly one of the safest for doing so. its just impossible to get any info now.

if there was a leery situation, it would have been 3 months ago when u-tv disappeared, they could have turned off the server, let it freeze, never recover from ecm, etc, but the server is one the smoothest out there.

Just because a server goes "true private" doesnt mean its safe. The fact that its user base is still harvested from public means it is a public server who is no longer accepting or supporting new users. The fact that they just vanished means they did not find it profitable to take users who already paid for many months of subs to their "new" ip. If you calculate the yearly subs and break them down, you also have to account for opperating costs and unforseen costs as well as profit. Once you start selling yearly subs and you do great sales everything is praised as if were the next best thing since sliced bread. But imagine the day when a server stops getting new users and the server operator cannot pay the bills. Its just easier to close up shop take a bad rep and start selling using resellers or start using a different name. "Its always better to pay a little more monthly then to loose everything suddenly."

I've been using them for almost a year (one month left), it was up most of the time. I've sent a few emails to the so called "support". And no replies. I think they are gone for good.
