freezing often

Hi I have jynxbox on rocket server and my channels freeze anywhere between 2 to 20 minutes. I did not know where to post the issue as I am confused whether it is box issue or everyone has this issue.

Jynxbox is working okay. Try re-boot the entire system.

How do I need reboot entire system. I tried turning off from back and then turning on. Still same issue.

Is there a way to test maybe it's my Internet connection although I doubt it

Mine is working great without freezing
Most of the problem with this box is due because over heat.

Reboot modem, router and box.

been noticing the same here. Some days been unwatchable the next runs perfect.Movie channels arent what they used to be either

That is a server issue not a box issue.

the only way to do a hard reboot on a jynx box is to unplug from the wall, the power switch on the back of the box don't kill
all the power, just unplug it for 30 sec.

Most of the time its your router and other activities on your internet network. Heat also has very bad effect on your tuner.

yesterday, i downloaded the last bin file, factory reset, rebooted, downloaded the channels...it worked for 1 hour, i unplugged the electric wire by accident, when i plugged it back, it was freezing, even if server says it is connected.
i don't know if it is a problem of modem-router, of heating, or both.

First thing to do is check the status of your server. I would also factory reset and redo everything.

Tried hard boot and reset on internet router. My internet is okay; i am still seeing freezing problems. My config are as below; anything to do with this?
Model = Jynxbox V2
Loader = V 1.2.20
Hardware = V 1.0.3
Database = V 1.0.1
Firmware = V 1.2.39

now really how do you think we are to determine that without even knowing who you have for an internet provider but a quick glance through the posts of the rocket section should tell where the problem lies

I have a similar problem and I am with NFPS not Rocket.

Thanks Nostradamus. Sorry for being novice in the server lingo, i am assuming you are saying my internet provider probably is causing error. I hoped so too but i doubt that is the reason --- else i would have seen it in my streaming and downloads. well will keep digging. thanks.

actually no man it is the server and not your internet, lots of people complaining about being down and/or frezing

Nostradamus, sometimes when the server freeze, my Jinx Box also freeze, and I can assure you it is not a clone, I then has to do a hard reboot to unfreeze it. can anything be done to counter it.

Mine have same problem . a lot of bug and its not a clone.. Wifi dongle say disconnected all The time . channel freeze and box freeze pvr not work. Need to reboot its all The times.. Im wating "The update" that will be fix a lot of issue. Not imprresive stb for me..

Hi Problemchild , how did you fix it? My server keeps on dropping every few minutes.

First emailed my p$ to make sure everything was good in that end then just made sure that the info in my stb was the same as what it was on the p$ web site
