My Sonicview Elite went belly up. I've replaced it with a Sonicview Premier. Setup was pretty similar but the channel scans come with with vastly different results. I'm viewing 119 and 110. The Elite had channels all the way up to the 8100's and higher. The Premier only gets channels to around 794. Nothing on the setup has changed except for the receiver. The LNB selection is a little different, on the Elite I had single selected, that isn't an option on the Premier, I'm using the standard option. I had read that I should use the OCS-DP setting but that does not produce results. Also 110 always says failure at the end of a scan yet it adds all the channels.
Is the tuner in the Premier that much different from the Elite? I thought the main difference between the two was that the Elite had two tuners. Is there something that I'm missing? Here is my setups.
Sat: 119W
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Freq: 11250
22KHZ: OFF
LNB Power: ON
Transponder: 12224
Search Opt: All
Network Search: Off
DiSEqC: Port 1
Motor: Disable
Legacy Switch: OFF
110W is exactly the same and both are the same as I had setup on the Elite except for the LNB Type was Single instead of Standard.
I'm new to the Premier so any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Niv
