merging multiple .ts files from pvr into one file

hello,

whenever i pvr something from my nfusion on my hard drive, the program gets split into multiple .ts files of 2gb each

first of all, is there a way to change that? for example, can i change the default size of the .ts file to be larger so its not split?

failing that, is there a good program out there that can combine these .ts files into one big file? i tried videoredo but the merging takes way too long and the audio is not in sync anyway

i only care about hd programming, so whether that program works for sd or not isn't a big deal to me

I have recorded several movies using my nfusion HD with my PVR and each time they have been divided into at least a couple of files for each movie. Using a free service called Freemake Video Converter, it will merge the files into one and it does a good job. I've transferred from PVR to DVD as well as putting the movie on my computer hard drive.
