scanning channels

I think i have a bad wire or lnb cause i cant get ch198 when i tp scan or sat scan 110.
i dont get all channels
119 is fine, so is 91
i have tried different ports etc and 110 still missing some channels
any help is much appreciated

disque switch is new german dsw41
i have tried the limesat cdx file but no 900 channels show

A bad wire or ln b would not eliminate one channel from a scan. If you want a clean scan go straight to ln b , and not through a switch.
////Did you check with your p$ to see if he had that particular channel so if you did scan it in, would you be able to view?

DN ch 198 was dropped from their service.. If I re-scan, I bet I'd lose 198 on mine too...
