Hello all you fantastically lovely ppl lol

I am getting my nexus 4 on Friday and I am going to get the micro sim card thingy
I ordered my phone through google and so no activation as yet
Can I play around with it and learn stuff before I get my number switched to my new phone?
I want to smart myself up a little before I do the big switch to the 21st century lol

most devices can still be powered on without a SIM, so you should be able to play...some functions won't work, of course, but it should work...that being said, there is a small chance that it shows a screen saying it needs a SIM to turn on, but those are few and far between if I remember correctly...so I guess the ultimate answer is try it...it won't hurt anything

My advise is to activate it and use it,I was scared my IPhone would be smarter than me,took no time to get comfortable with it.

you can certainly power it up and play with it but you will likely have to get a new sim if you're upping from an ancient phone......just a heads up. they can transfer your # so no panic there.
