I have read some posts on these IRD's but i need some clarity, are these ird's ready to go for hd birds such as 82 and 129? Thanks in advance JB:D

No it's not. The HD on 118 is not turbo modulation so it does them.

You could be right, here is an add from a local dealer in Vancouver.

The MFG does not ship them out of the factory with 8psk modules. Some dealers do install this ADD ON before they pass them on to the user.

well let's say mine had ONE, could it receive 82w ? 82 is hd mpeg4 8psk turbo. So yes a dreamlink HD with add on board can scan in those channels

Just another way to sell rcvrs identical to the one claiming there is such a thing as a version 4 dreamlink

I'm having the same issues I don't know if i have a 8psk model or not, sounds like i have a sk200 on mine as well either way i cannot scan in 82 as well all i get is 5 channels HD.

82 is bev u need a antenna pointed to that bird.....to check if u have the sk200 board install go into manual scan scroll down to tranmission it it will show if the board is install or not.
