View Full Version : PVR option causing issues with live channel viewing

I recently got a pinwheel HD mini and have put in 2.3 firmware successfully with no issues. I then decided to try out PVR and connected a WD portable 1tb hardrive to the box and followed the procedure to format it to ext2. I then selected start from the storage menu which is successfully allowed me to record shows.

The problem I have is when I playback any of the recorded files and either on completion of file or stopping the playback in middle, am unable to view the live satellite channels. Any channel I select results in a black screen although I can see the program guide. The only way I am able to see the live channels is turning off the box, disconnecting the hard drive, rebooting the box and waiting about 3-5 mins after the box completes booting.

Has anyone faced this problem or am I doing anything wrong? Please advice as constantly connecting and disconnecting the hard drive is not ideal for use as PVR.
