Problem with 9000+

I have a 9000+ that works for about three hours and then it freezes and a single digit comes in the screen. I have to turn it off from the back and reset it, sometimes it comes back ok and other times the single digit will come back. If I let it cool down for a while it will come back, but after it warms up. Any suggestions on what might be happening will be appreciated.

Laptop cooling pad should fix it. Don't put anything on top of receiver. good luck
