will this receiver work ok power wise to the lnbs if using dish 500 with dpp lnbs & a single lnb for a serpent sat or would it be better to use 1000,2 dpp? thanks

No matter which you go you need to supply your dish with an extra power source like a power inserter through your switch or by using an old receiver.
