Today is a day that we remember as if it was yesterday. I remember where I was at that moment when the first tower was hit. 3 day later and for many times after, due to my job I was there working at the pile. I saw it, smelled it and tasted it and its something you don't forget. I lost a dear friend who was there to do rescue but was killed as the north tower fell.
As we all go about thru our day today, take a moment and reflect... Remember those who perished and those who still fight for our freedom. Take a moment and hug your children and remember those children who don't have their parents to hold them. Say hi to a stranger and pay it forward. We all have a cross to bear and at one point or another, we will stand before our own lord with whom we believe and be judged. I am a firm believer and live by this saying.." If I wake up breathing nothing else matters to me".
