Hello.after factory reset my new jynxbox hd,it is nessesary to reload factory files and latest bin inthat order?and does this box needs jb200 cable as a musk...?......and if is a must how do i installed? sorr y for my ignorance,but i need you guys experience to help me put this box to work.........thanks to all menbers .......oh one more should i use box louder to traspass this files? if so how i do it?......blesses to all.....way your responde........

after factory default load the latest bin from usb
unzip the bin and put it on a usb then insert usb stick to jynx go into menue and load
yes you need a jb200. You open the box and put it into the #1 slot.

If you did a factory reset on your receiver all you need to do is setup your antenna, scan for channels, and setup your servers.
Unzip, extract, unrar they all mean the same thing, to uncompress the archived file. Rar is another version of Zip, 7zip (shareware) will uncompress rar files.

You only need to unrar the 243 file to your flash drive then install it on your box. Once loaded thendo a factory reset.
Slot 1 is the slot on your left when looking from the front of the box.

0k my friend you been of great help,i goint to start working,one more deatail..whats jb 200 cable do to box? Also they included two washers and i dont fine were to install them,there no screws...........

There is no JB200 cable. You put the washers on the module after installing it then put the nuts on and tighten them so the module doesn't move.
You plug your cable from the dish into the module where it says line in.

Oh now i confuse,friend you that there is jb200 cable,but my box vame witt cable ,one pin on one and around plastic end on the other,it came in a small box that says jb200 v2 slot 1 or 2......that why i dont know what to do wit it,i have all over the box and dont see no place that figs........and the washers where included, no nuts

That cable is the RF extender it plugs into the back of the receiver to extend the signal for the remote the remote doesn't work very well with out it.the jb200 just plugs into the mother board then put the washer on and tighten them to keep the module from moving the JB200 goes into slot 1 as mentioned above slot 1 is the second set of holes from the edge of the receiver there should be tape over the first set of holes

Now i got it,them as far as i concern,my remote is working great,so i dont need this extender.....so its like a plus...for the remote....no wonder you get it for free,jaja.......thank you my friend,im goind keed working on this box,i having able to hat it goind....SO iam to reload the bin filed and delete my old ones.....they may be corruted,so hey dont work,if i get results i let you know,so other member can use this experience....THANK YOU MY FRIEND..........

You will need the nuts to help support the module in slot 1, perhaps the local electronics supply house near you (radio shack) might have. I have a bunch of them floating around but I am not anywhere near you, perhaps other members will PM you for your location and could send to you. The small other is the extender for the remote control, I would use it, makes remote work much better.

My friend,iam frustrade,i have follow all instruction ,download files,win rar extracted,usb utgrade to box,factory reset ,sat scan and hass no even ben able to connet my box to provider,no tv image yet....all i get is conection failed......and provider also dont know what to tell me......so if any one can help is welcome.....dont know what else to do,i also replace files wit new ones,but nothing.....i have recheck all provider settins and looks ok......but .......frustrade.......blesses to all........

Did you turn the server setting to on for the slot your are using?

If you have the JB200 installed in slot one make sure in dish setting fixed lnb is set to 1 and not 2

Ok,thanks,that have been resolve......module is already in box.......my comfution was that i recieve a cable in a small box ,that says jb200 on it.....i realy apreciate your help.......now my problem is to conneted the box to server.......and i think the server is eather ,having problens ,or they give wrong settings #,hope to have it by weekend,if there any advice,welcome,somebary that have this boxes running may help..........blessee and good nigh to all............

You set up the vonets using small disc and loaded the program? You are connected to router using wep security?

Why don't you get a wifi antenna for the receiver if its a Version three one should have come with it.then you just have to setup your the wifi in your receiver I find Vonet bridges are no very reliable

You are not going to get proper help if you can't post how you are actually hooked up. You are saying 2 different things.
Run a straight LAN line to your box from your router.
Follow set up instructions in the guides section. I gave you the link in post #5. If you read carefully you will be set up. This box is very easy set up.

I agree, run a direct line to router for now, get router to connect, then your server should connect...too many variables trying to trouble shoot at same time.

Since you are having so many problems only use the lan cable from router to receiver for now, get that working, then worry about using vonets later. Check in menu that you are using DHCP and you have an ip address showing. (menu->tools->ok->network local setting->ok->DHCP On) Should show ip address in blue/grey. (->Apply->ok)

this is all ok wit router reciever cable,it shows ap addrsss in all lines.......another details i have manualy added servers imf,,,,and its shows on line one,as falows,.......domain or ip address,port #,user,pass,and keys...but it keeds saing no server conected.....i have try to connet,but its keeds getting connection failed........

Make sure your info is correct for P$. No extra spaces, no using capital letters instead of small ones depending on what you were given, etc. Once that is verified hit apply. If you don't connect right away assuming you have scanned sats which is what you should have done first put receiver on channel 200 and reboot receiver via back switch and wait about 5-10 mins.

If you hit apply and it doesn't connect do a hard reboot turn the switch at the back off and count to 10 normally then turn the switch back on

friend,i have dome that several times,......and i keed getting same massage,reboot on channel 200,wait ut two half hour ,i have also scam channells,but i see is 1o1 on charlie........nice & clear,i have learn about using there remote........i may expert in charlies control ,ja,ja........well i am goind keed trying wit the help of this wanderfull forum and of course there menbers.........blesess....iPS iam to contac another provider,maybe mine beaver is down.......

Beaver is not showing as down....http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?120715-Beaver-tv-up-down/page66 Therefore something is not set up properly at your end. I still say to check your P$ info and the way you input it.

EDIT: looks like there might be an ecm going down.

Make sure your local network is all filled in menu>tools>local network then click apply it should save then try connecting to the server

This is not a box issue. It is a set up issue. There is something you are either missing or doing wrong.
In the back of the unit where the LAN cord plugs in are the lights flashing when you have the box on and the LANcord plugged in?

If there is no flashing then your not connected to the internet I would say its a problem with your vonet I would hardwire it and see if you get a flashing light then and see if it connects then

In post #33 and #45 you say you have connection, on the ports ethernet is plugged into you should have light lite...otherwise you would not have ip address info as you say. If this is so, the receiver is working correctly. The problem is in your setup within the menu of receiver. Not sure where but you need to make sure satelites and your dish settings are correct, and your P$ server info are correct.

I have just opem new tread on this matter,it is comfusing,Iam getting all ips,mask and so on local network ,but there is no lights ethernet slot,i have 3 cables and have try all......in all get local network ips and so on......but no lights at all..on slot.....

Well,it looks like i have to give ut, on this box,no one things to know,so it musk be the box, iam going to return to seller,claiming non funcioning ethernet.......i have internet in my hole house,but this just dint connet, also wants to let you know the box local network shows all ips,mask and so on,even when theinternet cable disconneted....and rebbot and they steal there........
