Funny you say that.

I've never seen an fta receiver that would actually default after a channel change to time.

Have you? I'd kind of like that but for some reason that seems to be either not important or very difficult for fta receivers.

Just a pet peeve of mine.

I've never had a receiver that showed time or channel on front
then again there might be one model dish/bell has that I don't know about...lol

lol. Oh, well if the true sub receivers don't do it than i guess that explains it nicely.

I need to get out more, never played with a dn or bev receiver in action.

Had a CS 5000 but not for long and than gave it to a friend back in the n2 days.

I never noticed if it did or didn't.
