Scanning results with diseq and sw21

My setup is giving me some grief today , I am running emp switch A being 110 ... B is 119 ....C is 129 D has sw21 dish 1 is 91 W and dish 2 is 82 . all lnbs are a standard eagle aspen dual lnbf . the issue i am coming across is when i scan 82 , i am only getting maybe 68 channels and with network off and scanning set as 1 sat at a time , the only birds scanning correctly is 110 and 119 . I am wondering if my sw21 is causing a communication issue or could it be a bad switch . Or should i scan ( get ladder out ) and connect each sat directly and scan , than rehook up switches . what would you suggest ?... thanks

do you have another fta ird to check to see if you get the same results before going up the ladder

If you have your sw21 switch connected to a port on the diseqc switch you have to set the diseqc switch port setting for the port you have you sw21 switch connected to as well as your legacy switch settings dish 1 and dish 2

I decided to scan each sat individually today with much better results and i ditched the sw21 for an emp 22khz switch and all seems good now . thanks for your help

Alot of the newer receivers are not liking the sw-21 switches...prolly because the software is written for either linear lnbs or dp type circular lnbs. These new coders prolly do not remember legacy type lnbs from the past...just a thought :noidea:

After pulling my hair out and having my unit go into boot loop for the past 24 hrs , i did a reset back to 2.4 file , went to sats page and setup , and noticed that it was taking forever to scan and was skipping 21500 frq tps , i go to 129 and Unknown displays at top of page , and same as 82 .. it locks but will not pull any tps in , I think I either have a bad ls400 or tuner or both , because the past few days its acted very bizzare. also when going to watch 9421 eg.. the hd content skips and shutters , also green pixelating at bottom of screen( not freezing its totaly different) , My thoughts are that a faulty tuner or ls400 can cause this bootloop issue or was it file 2.51 that caputched it .?.
