new pinwheel ...where are server settings..help please

I am setting up my new pinwheel mini.
I have found the server section but it is all blank except for colored buttons are there. No place to enter private server info. Am I in the right place?

look under apps in main menu / server list ...password is 9999

I have went there but all that shows is the red green yellow and blue button with no writing or anything? is there a place that server info should be entered or how

setup the time first
setup and scan your sats
connect to your network
after you do those 3 you should be able to add a server to your server list

Maybe I try the 2.4, i was trying to use the 2.51. double checked it was for mini also.

go to apps then scroll to server list click ok then you should get a new window password enter 9999 then the blue button to enter the server list it will be blank click on the green button on the remote to add your server info once you enter your ps info hit the green button to store the server info you will get a new window server info sucessfully saved.

That did not work either. All I have is the red green yellow blue button on screen.
Server stuff at way top , not no way to enter server info.
Stumped. Net work is connected, 119, 110 and 129 added and channels scanned. Channel 101 shows up

yea, before you can enter the server infos, the receiver has to be connected to a network and have an IP address.

ok, go menu and scroll down to about, press ok, you should see which model pinwheel you have, the bin installed and the mac address

Does not matter what I do. I have tried several other sw files. Factory rebooted, rescanned channels. Rebooted network.
Pinwheel mini for sale real cheap.....very soon

Well if you never tried a factory defaul then how do you know it won't work its worth a try if that doesn't work then get a hold of leesatt he will exchange it for you

I ahem connected to internet. I don't have option to enter p$ after I enter pass into server settings. There is no add or edit on screen by the red air green tabs

what is mean by proxy?
I am running through a router. do I need to change something in my router settings?
my ip addresses start with 10.0.0. whatever....(different for my connections)

Proxy means that you are using your own isp to connect

You are either using vpn or proxy

Well this is weird!! My box was working fine then the pic froze. I waited to see if it would come back, it didn't. I tried the Cobra-cam restart and that didn't work. So I just happened to go Menu and Server List and all my info is gone and not only that, the server page isn't working. The colored buttons have no words next to them and there is NO WAY i can now re-enter my server info!! I now have this same problem!!

I was literally watching and then BAM!! It changed. The box didn't even reboot or nothing. It literally by itself deleted the server option!!

ok I was able to replicate and solve the problem

first I factory defaulted - made no difference

reloaded latest file - made no difference

stopped for supper and unplugged the unit from the wall. 30 minutes later came back , powered up an everything was back to normal. It seems killing the juice and letting the capacitors drain out will fix the issue. BTW I replicated the issue by pressing the blue button and then selecting restart CAM

Maybe its if the box can't connect to the Internet. I'll do some testing. I had the same problem when I loaded the wrong firmware on the box. The Internet connection would never work and the server list functions were blank.

If the device can't figure out what type it is based on the Mac address and check the servers. Maybe that's the same situation being experienced when you load the wrong firmware.

But I agree its weird......

Thanks Dude!! This totally worked for me!! I only unplugged mine for like 4-5 minutes and it was back to normal!!! Thanks for finding a solution!!!

Are you using the network connections separately or both plugged in? Unplug the wifi and try the Lan or use wifi and unplug the cable.

I did everything mentioned in this thread but i was't able to get anything in server list. There is no way i can put server info. Anyone has any idea what to do?
I already did factory reset, tried different files from 2.3 to 2.7, tried Ethernet wireless, loaded even factory file and did everything from scratch but nothing so far. Help is welcome....
