I got my box today plug it in it says no channels but it will not respond to the remote or I cannot see anything on the tv just blue screen

You need to get into the menu to set up the sats. Check the batteries or reboot from the back of the receiver. Are you sure you don't have a clone. Look at the back of the remote and see if it says china?

Ok so its genuine. Try rebooting from the back. Turn if on and off from the rear switch.

If that doesn't work then you will need to use the loader to install the factory file and the bin. Here is the link to the loader file

it takes more than that little made in china stamp to determine clone or real box. I can almost guarantee you unless it came from an authorized dealer that it is a clone and their stock is running low or depleted as well

Usually if the remote says made in china then it should be genuine since im guessing that it came in the same box as the receiver. The clones have nothing written in the back of the remote.

Not sure what you mean by that lol. I asked how did you load the factory file.

Then you will need to get into the menu but your saying that your remote wont work. Somehow you need to get into the menu to setup your sats.

Should be ok. Use it to load the latest bin but you need the remote to work.

keep pushing the aspect button right below the number 9 on the remote. push the button. wait a few seconds if nothing happens and then try again. Sounds like you are stuck in a resolution mode your tv doesn't like. th3e aspect button will scroll through the different video modes

I was going to suggest that but he is saying that it says no channels on the screen and its blue so he must be viewing a picture.

Is there any way to load the 243 bin with the loader

ok if you are certain that you have the right video selected on you TV then you need to exchange the unit. Loading a different file is not going to fix a hardware issue and it is no sense loading a file to the box in that case. If you are using HDMI, try a different cable or try a different output on the receiver and see if you can narrow it down but right now it sounds like it is is DOA
