Help!!! *lol *Have a problem. Got a new pw mini. *Installed cards. *

Everything was ok. *Menu was there etc...

Decided to load its first bin. Started to upgrade to 2.6 and it was loading * Went from. e1-e100 then started over. *Suddenly got a err message and the box froze up. *Waited 5 minutes and nothing happened. *Just sat there with err message. *Rebooted and wouldn't boot.

I then followed the instructions to recover from stuck on boot.

Tried a few files. * Even renamed them as instruction for stuck on boot. *Went to upgrd, then load, then after 20 seconds gave me the message Er 1. And nothing! *Tried 3 files on 3 sticks. *Nothing works. *Just stuck on boot.

I then removed sat cable and unplugged ribbons to make sure it was not a card fault. *No difference. *Wouldn't load or boot.

Is there an actual factory file other than 2.0 3rd party?

Any ideas??? * Thanks

If you get E1 then when you changed the file name you missed something when you rename the file just right click on any file then scroll down to rename click on it rename the file to pinwheelhdfactory_fw.udf make sure you don't put udf in again by mistake because when you rename the file udf won't be deleted I would also fornat the usb stick first as well before putting the file onto the stick

you will be able to rename any working files(from 2.0 to 2.6) and make it a factory file:

-extract the file

-right click on it and say "rename"

-c/p this to that place-pinwheelhdfactory_fw.udf

-follow the rest of the instructions and you should be fine

P.S. do not forget to format the usb before doing anything

Thanks guys. I did rename the file, but it was still not working. Several files I tried. Anyway... after almost 100 attempts (seriously) at force loading, and with numerous usb sticks and files, I finally got V2.2 to load. No other file would, but even then I tried the same file on the same stick 6 times, and it started to load, then gave me a ErR5 message. last time for whatever reason it loaded. Receiver back up. lol Now to load 2.6!

Well back in business for the time being. lol
