I have a limesat HD air, I got it with a wifi board which I installed and connected the power to it. I can go to the admin page for the wifi and then go to Wireless Settings > LIMESAT Station Surv. There I see my wireless network. I select it and click connect, it asks me for the wireless Key. I enter the key (I have WPA2) and then click apply. It wait for a while and then the status says Disconnected.

I tried it several time and even tried using open network but get the same result. Am I missing any step? Is there a firmware update that needs to be applied to the Wifi board?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you

I take no credit for this C/P I can't remember where I got it. It works for me

LimesatHD wifi configuration instructions

•Connect your Limesat HD directly to your computer using the 3G enternet input
•Open up your web browser and type 192.168.16.1

•Username is admin

•Password is admin.

•This should give you access to the 3G router GUI
•Select the mode tab at the top and change 3G wireless mode to Wireless Client mode. Save your

•settings and apply changes

•Since you are plugged in directly you will still be able to access the 3G router. Note: Under the status tab your wifi status is disconnected in blue letters.
•Select the Wifi-Wan tab. At the top you will see Connection type. Select WifiDHCP. A the bottom of the page select the proper security type of your home network to input your wireless encryption type and authentication key. If you don’t have any wireless security(not recommended) just leave it open

•Select the Search AP. Button. This will search for available wireless signals in your area. Depending on your location you may access to several network signals. If this is the case you will have to know your SSID with is your network ID that requires your network security authentication.

•Once you have accepted you should see the remote ap field filled with your SSID. Apply changes
•If all goes well see wifi status will show connected in red and your SSID will be in quotation marks. Your primary dns server will also have your routers’ IP address.

•Disconnect the enternet cord from your computer and connect the loop cord that was provided with the unit to the 3G input and the other lan input.
•At this point you should be connected to your network, you may have to reboot before the network changes take effect.
