If you are having a problem with file try "drag and drop" to thumb drive as opposed to copy and paste.

Just throwing this out there. When you put the flash drive into the unit are you going into the menu and opening the flash drive then highlighting the file then clicking on it to load it.

Try a different usb stick.
I would also delete the file you have off your computer and re download it then extract to the new usb stick.

If you can see the file are you scrolling down to then click ok on the remote to load the file and the file should load let the file load and the reciver should reboot itself

Yes I am doing all of that. It show a scale that it is loading and it does reboots.

Then go to your receiver information screen and make sure the file # is there. If so then set up your sats and scan them.

couple of things you can try
try downloading a fresh copy
try using a different program to extract,try 7zip
try using another computer to load onto usb
load usb stick in and do a hard boot then try loading

Did you do a factory default/system recovery after loading the file could be why it isn't showing if you didn't System Recovery should be in Configuation

I read the same thing in the system info and I'm watching TV. for some reason the file does not go in well. the most important thing is to do the factory reset after install the file otherwise it will not change anything .... good luck

it took me a while to store server hook-up.....when you type in ip address ,port etc..........hit red button.......you have to assume it went in..............then hit connect..........all your info is blind......doesnt show up after typing and hitting red button

Dreamlink T5 setup guide
First there are two things you will never see on this receiver.
1 The firmware that you load into it will be {invisable} After loading it will still show the factory fille.
2 The info you put in IKS server section {invisable] After you press the red button to store
To get started Download the latest Firmware upgrade and Extract it to a thumb drive.
Insert the thumb drive in the receiver select Firmware and press ok to download. Hit exit
Do a system recovery go to menu select Configeration select system recovery. exit
You can now go and setup your sats and download your channels.
Next setup your iks server select configeration then networking if you have internet connected you will see IP addresses.
pess the blue button and 0000 to enter the server menu. The password and the ID number are the same.

You don't have to hit the red button on the remote after you put the your info in just hit exit and it will save the info

bill i was haveing trouble loading my file & it would show loading bar ,but it didn,t load, here is whati did,took top off my rec unplugged tuner,&pluged back in,make sure the arrow on the tuner is pointing to the back of rec,then after i put a new file on usb stick --t5.0100.0911p,then put the usb in rec,then it came up showing the file,dont clk on any thing else ,like chn lists.,then it worked ok,before when it didnt work,i clicked on the 2 chns list i think that was my problem,,>>>>-- hope this helps___let me know if it works.

Are you sure its connected to the server just because it says connected doesn't mean its connected to the server go into menu network settings and at the bottom it should say server connected 1 or 2 if you have 2 server connected if it doesn't say that then you are not connected to the server

doesn't make sense, how can the server be connected if your ethernet isn't???

you need to have an internet connection to receiver, once you have that verify your receiver is getting an ip address, if you are getting an ip addy and your codes are good you should connect at that point

I would say the dreamlink is getting a internet connection because it has IP addresses on the internet setup screen on the dreamlink.
