The difference you will see between a .1 dB and a .2 dB noise floor LNB is negligible, you would not see any difference in "S" or "Q" on most systems.

Of the better LNB's out there I like the Invacom QPH-031, it's a good stable dual output, (two receivers) dual Ku band (linear/circular) LNB, but it is meant to fit a standard dish, (40 mm neck size) and not a Dish 500/1000 or any of the Dave dishes, it is however a .3 dB noise floor LNB, but as I said you wont notice the difference.

The only time you would notice a difference is with an extreme out of foot print condition or extremely long run of coax (over 200 feet) from LNB to receiver, then the extra .1 or .2 of dB may make or break the system, but on any standard setup it wont.

All they (marketing execs) are doing is specmanship, or "My LNB is better that your LNB by this much", most receivers would not even see a .1 dB difference, the tuners are too cheap.

Even the professional LNB's don't have this low a spec, take a look at the link below, and that LNB costs more then most entire entertainment systems put together.
