has anyone tried to run a dpp44 power inserter in line with the receiver to port1 of a 1000.2 turbo dish or is it just best to run a new line to port 1 by its self ?also using two hd receivers, thanks

Works fine w/ dn or bev receivers on multi installs. That is what they were designed for, does not work for fta receivers. Need run separate cables not connected to power inserter, but definitely use to power dish even though using multi fta receivers.

I have this set-up. I ran a wire from inserter to I think it was port 1 and then another wire from port 2 back to the receiver. I can't get 129 because too far North so installed a larger single dish to last port I think it was#4? Anyway worked on a Limesat Air with no problems
