I am looking for a new receiver but has to have wifi capabilities.
Dreambox keeps coming up but I can't find a model with wifi.

Not sure what Jynxbox you have but everyone one I have seen requires a usb plug in of some sort and the usb plug ins are on the outside of the box.

I know you use the usb port to load files. Will the usb port on a Dreamlink connect to my modem if I had the usb antenna?

my bro could not get an ip with the vonets usb-wifi
I'm using the vonets usb-wifi and did not have any issues connecting after configuring it. I disabled the adapter on my pc after configuring it and made sure I was able to go online and it worked fine.

I gave up my dreamlink long ago but have to say no it would not work with a usb type wifi antenna as the drivers needed to run that device would need to be coded into the bin

i have set up a few dreamlinks with wifi adapters.... mainly netgear and never had an issue as long as i did not use the usb for power but instead used the power adapter that also came with the wifi adapter.

The drivers would not come from the dreamlink box. It comes from the wifi adapter firmware.
When boxes advertise "wifi ready"' it is very misleading.
If it can connect to any network then they are all wifi ready.
