If you're gonna upgrade to an hd unit, forget the I-stink.Look at a dreamlink or Jynx.

I love my 9500. My main HD box and been using it for years. Should be much cheaper than those mentioned since they've been out of production a few years.

You are going to have to look for a used unit, maybe better luck w/ a 9600 as the newer model. However will need the hd module installed for hd reception. These boxes do run hot, so be prepared to have a cooling fan available.

I have a 9500 and its the worst receiver I have ever bought. Overheating, unable to handle more than one subscription, unable to get north birds on there, slow, no more support .....etc. Definitely not recommended.
