Can I use dishpro LNB's and Dish pro in one system or do they conflict with one another? Currently I have a dish500 and want to add a second dish, I have a old bell dish and on the dish 500 the LNB (fatboy) it says dishpro, and the bev dish I have the LNLB says Dish digital LNBF. Also if this does work what switch can I use?

dishpro LNB's and Dish pro (DP) are the same thing.

And if the Dish digital LNBF only has one (1) coax coming from it then it is a DP type LNB, if it needs two (2) coaxes run to a switch (SW32, SW44 or SW64) then it is a legacy, and you should not mix the two up, it will be a major hair pulling experience to get it to run right.

Using all DP LNB's is the best choice, and on a DP system you can only use DP type switches, a DP44 switch will run 4 DP type LNB's.

Photos of your LNB's will help us a bit.

And how many satellites are you trying for?

so is dishpro and dish compatible? the single dual I have is a Legacy then, and the dual twin is a dishpro. I currently have 110 and 119, on the twins on a dish 500, and may add 91 and/or 82, I have issues with trees and house, but I can get some channels in. I was thinking of using a 22" with the legacy, but had issues with a 4x1 switch. but I seen somewhere using three sats with the twin, and another single lnb with a ecoda switch, and it appeared the built in switch still functions with the ecoda.

Dish Pro LNB's and Dish legacy LNB's are not compatible with each other, it's all Dish Pro, or all Dish legacy, don't try and mix the two.

Take a look at the DP twin LNB on the Dish 500, if it's one of the newer ones it may have an input for a second DP single type LNB.

It would have 2 outputs for recivers and a single "F" connector on it's own to the right of the other 2 for the second LNB.

All you would then need would be a DP single (not a legacy) LNB and your set, add the 91 satellite as Diseqc switch #3, this will not work if you add a DP twin for 91 and 82 due to conflicting switches.

As I see the 110/119 satellites are mostly SD so you must have an SD receiver, so you would not need 82W as it's mostly HD.

If you want all 4 satellites (82, 91, 110 and 119) then go with 4 single DP LNBs,(not 4 legacy's) run them to a 4x1 diseqc switch, or a DPP44 switch if you need to add more receivers.

Adding more switches can complicate things, and can cause big headaches it also adds to the overall system loss.

I have Jynxbox Ultra, so I would be looking for HD but 91 or 82 would do, as I mentioned the trees and house are limiting me so I won't be getting much anyway, maybe half the channels. Thanks Terryl for the help.
