channels missing

I am not getting some channels in my channel list,i have to do a re scan about 5 times in order to get some channels for example my first scan 140 and a few more would not show up so i delete all channels and re scan i finally got most but not all like 504,507 is anyone having same problem is it a tp issue or what? and another problem some channels wont come in unless i do a soft reboot or keep going up and down the channels very annoying

scanning issues as you describe are a result of poorly aligned dish

channels not popping in until after a reboot is either a disec switch issue or a power supply in the receiver not able to deliver the signal to the switch properly either because of a weak power supply or poor cabling and connectors
