i can,t get my remoute to shut off tv,does any 1 know what the code is for ,t5 dreamlink rec,but i wan,t o shut off tv,the rest of it works good.i have a led hd 42 samsung tv,??? thanks. it shuts off rec ok.

I don't think that function ever worked on the DLHD or SD

Most likely you are the only one.
I wouldn't use an FTA remote as my main universal remote.
get a cheap Logitech remote and let it do all the work. Logitech has dreamlink codes too.

try this few steps turn your tv ON, press the tv button on your remote until it stays lit,press and release your power button until tv turns OFF,then finally press ok to save..hope this steps works for you..

i called up the t5 dealer he said it was a manufactory flaww & he will send me a different remoute ill will let u know next week how it works.

so i heard back from reasearch electronics,he said he couldnt do anything to help me ,he said,it works on some tv,but not on my samsung 42 inch h.d.tv.he said he has the same problem..its in the remoute,>>>> so i guess i will have to use 2 remoutes to turn off &on tv.......

Do the same procedure you would to get the tv button working on the remote only use the dvd or other button. That will clear the memory for tv button, and follow procedure again using the correct button(tv) and it should work. good luck
