I seem to be having an issue with setting up my jynxbox hd ver 3. it has been determined this is an original box. Q1 I did have a nano 2 and put all info in on the new box. I am on echo star 10/11, it seems I have everything ok, even have scanned satelitte and have 8- to 85% signal. do have EPG but no picture. the cat 5 at the rear does not light up when installed. could this be the problem. I do have the cat 5 from the router directly to receiver, if anyone is on Skype and would be willing to assist I would be grateful. you can pm me if posssible....this getting old is the pits....many thanks....W/H

There are no lights on the ethernet connector, go to menu -> tools -> network local setting -> DHCP ON. Should populate w/ ip addy, subnet mask, gateway all in blue/grey. Go to apply, hit OK on remote.

You didn't by accident use or pick up a cross over CAT5 cable did you??

I would've tried a new cat5 cable in a different port from the router before returning it. Sounds like either that or your router firewall is blocking you. I have not seen an issue with the LAN port on the unit but it is possible.
