Has anyone had issues with their VS9000HD freezing up and not doing anything. I have the version with the fan. It boots up ok but after a minute or so I try to change the channel and it completely locks up. I have tried it with no serial port connected. I also factory defaulted it, then loaded the factory bin, then factory defaulted it, then loaded the newest file, then factory defaulted it one more time. Still doing the same thing. I also removed the 8psk thinking it was the problem as well. Still no go. Is the unit on its way out?

An update to my problem. I cleared everything and just scanned the 119 and 110 channels only. Everything is working fine. I'm wondering if I had too many channels loaded? Or a channel that was locking everything up? I'm running 119, 110, 129, 91 and 82.

Problems like this are usually due to a corrupted satellite or channel file. Once they're completely cleaned out the problem typically disappears.

Actually the trouble was my 22khz switch caused the receiver to lock up. I removed it and its working fine. Need to get another one or a sw21 to run 5 satellites.
