Playback of recorded shows

For my Nano I used GOMPLAYER to play recorded shows on my computer. Now that I am using the new Linkbox HD Plus, I can record shows and play them back on the receiver, but cannot play them on a computer with GOMPLAYER. Has anyone had success playing recorder Linkbox shows on a computer and if you did what software are you using?

to record , do you need a usb stick for the recorded program to go onto and then play it fron the stick as its left in the receiver , thanks
