When can we expect a Bin to be released to address switch issues.
When the Ultra HD was released it had LNB switching issues which were corrected with bin 217 if I remember correctly.
The Ultra Lite has the exact switching issues that the original box had when first released.
I have a combination of 4X4 switches coupled to DiSEqC switches that can handle several different brand receivers including the Ultra HD Ver 1-3 but the Lite will not configure 19846correctly.
My setup is similar to the diagram but I have (3) 4X4 switches connected to (4) DiSEqC switches which allows me to connect (6) sats to (4) receivers.
this is the only working bin for jynxbox hd ultra lite http://www.satfix.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=19590&d=1379078089 check your sat setting to make sure that they are correct

Why not get rid of the extra switch hardware and go with an EMP 9x4 switch? (if those are legacy LNB's)
Less hardware and jumpers to cause too much signal loss, one switch to do the job.
It is also an externally powered switch, so there will be less drain on the reciver's power supply.(no caps to replace when they dry out and go bad)

My switch array has been working flawless since i made it up over 3 years ago. Has not burbed once. I went through a lot of work making it up in a enclosed weather proof box and everything grounded together. Works perfect with Sonicview / Ilink / Dreamlink /Viewsat / Nfusion and even Jynxbox Ultra HD. If it aint broke then do not fix it.
To answer your suggestion, I prefer my system cause with the Emp 9X4 it is recommended to install indoors and that would increase the number of cables from the dish to inside the house. Also long runs from the LNB to switch.
Thanks but I will stick with the evil I have which works perfectly based on the # of receivers tried and proven. Note also I have no heat issues at all with my JB200. The current draw is very low.
On another note ... Lots more fun in the light of testing when you can build stuff that works instead of having the instant rice and potatoes :comfort1:
Me again, edit # 2
Looking again at the EMP 9X4 ... That allows (4) SATS to (4) Receivers ... My set up does (6) Sats to (4) Receivers.

An EMP 13x4 will do 6 LNB's, I should have suggested that one had your drawing showed 6 LNB's, and since you have the other switches in a water tight box, the same can be done with the EMP.
I like useing less stuff outside the building as possible, one switch to do the job, less system signal loss also, every switch and coax jumper adds loss, it all adds up.
But I agree with you "If it ain't broke, don't mess with it", if your setup is working fine then don't mess with the switches.
Question:
What type/brand of LNB are you using?

I use the DSS Dual EMP Lnb 0.3 db. Supposed to be one of the best legacy LNB on the market.
