Hi folks.....

I am satisfied customer of Pinwheel HD..I have one dish with three lnbs and am getting decent signal strength 70's and quality 95+ (not too great...as dish size is small) and quality in the bedroom where Pinwheel HD is installed.

However in other room where ilink 210 is installed the strength of same channel is around 25-30 and quality is around 55-60.

I am curious to know why there is so much difference? Based on response, I need to decide if I have to change the receiver or do I have to make some corrections.

The argument that the installer gave me was tuner of Pinwheel is awesome and it picks up the signal much better than others, I am not sure how true is that but expert opinion would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Are you using 3 separate LNB's or the Dish 1000 LNB?

If 3 separate LNB's then are you using an externally DC powered switch?

A DC power inserter to run Dish 1000 LNB?

Or relying on the first receiver to try and run everything at once?

Even two of the same type of receiver can have different readings on the "S" and "Q".

What type of coax are you using, how long between runs, and what type/brand of LNB(s)/switch(s) are installed?

Here are the pictures of my dish.

The issue with receiver is strange as I hardly get any channels on ilink and if I switch receivers even then I get all channels with Pinwheel while ilink does not pick up channels.
